Abstract

Background and objectives: Helicobacter Pylori infection is a common bacterial infection specially in developing countries, this study was designed to find out the frequency of this bacterial infection in transfusion dependent thalassaemia patients and compare it with healthy controls also to associate different clinical and labouratory characteristics with Helicobacter Pylori positive and negative subjects.
