ENSURING GENDER EQUALITY AS AN IMPORTANT DIRECTION OF REFORMS IN MODERN UZBEKISTAN

Abstract

In the article the author touches upon the issues of gender equality in Uzbekistan. Thatit guarantees women and men equal participation in the management of the affairs of society and the State. The issue of gender equality has been raised to the level of state policy. "Strategy for achieving gender equality in the Republic of Uzbekistan until 2030" defines the concept of gender equality as equal rights and opportunities for women and men in all spheres of life and activities of society. At the legal and regulatory level, equal rights of women and men are enshrined.
