Carried out in the village "Sholikor" of the Muzrabad district of the Surkhandarya region Research shows that along with phytonematodes belonging to other ecological groups, parasitic phytohelminths are also found in rice fields. Parasitic phytohelminths include Apnelenchoides bessiyi, Ditylenchus dipsaci, Pratylenchus pratensis, Hirschmanniella gracilis.
It has been established that parasitic phytohelminths reduce yield by 25-40% due to damage to rice plants.
